Italian language courses in the heart of Italy

Fermo, one of the most alluring of the hill-top Marche towns, overlooks the sea and countryside.

As an important cultural center, it offers a combination of history, art and medieval tradition, while being only 15 minutes from the popular seaside resort of Porto San Giorgio.

Fermo is accessed from Ancona/Pescara airport and served by the A14 motorway.

At its center is the arcaded 16th century ‘Piazza del Popolo' where Centro Italiano is located. Centro Italiano has been providing Italian courses since 1984.

We are ideally located in the center of town, adjacent to the main square. We employ a proven, motivating teaching method which encourages constant communication, supported by a wide range of materials.The courses are run from our beautiful 16th century building, close to all amenities, the library and museums. 

Our teachers are professionally qualified and have experience of teaching Italian to a range of nationalities (including German, French, English, Russian and Spanish).

The principal aim of our courses is to enable learners to use Italian to deal with everyday situations, so study materials are wide-ranging and carefully selected for their excellence and clarity of presentation. Courses are held within spacious, well-equipped classrooms.

Prices quoted are per person. Please note that there will be no enrolment fee, however there will be a €50 charge per person for materials.

 
Accommodation

We can arrange accommodation according to your tastes:

A. Luxurious apartments (bedroom/kitchen/bathroom) in a recently restored 18th century 'palazzo' located in the centro storico, 5 minutes walk from the school. From 70 euros per person including breakfast.

B. Agriturismo: Why not locate yourself in a beautiful farmhouse, 15 minutes drive from the school? Prices are 25 euros per person for bed and breakfast, 50 euros per person half board (breakfast and dinner).
